I've been noticing that the blade of my 70EC develops a high pitched ring after a couple of seconds of running. I don't know if it has always been there or if I just started paying attention to it. It's noticeable even through the noise of the motor.
When stopping the saw and the blade has stopped turning, the blade keeps on ringing for at least a couple of seconds, unless I stop it by putting something against it and it immediately stops. So it's definitely the blade. I've tried loosening and retightening the bolt, but that hasn't done anything.
The artikel code of the blade (it's a pretty recent one) I'm using is 092462. Should I be worried?

I hate it when that happens!.. never understood why. Maybe it needs cleaning / sharpening. I don't have this with my Erika rip blade. I wouldn't worry personally.

Good to know! Might see if it my old blade also rings. But changing blades is always such a hassle

I've got 4 blades for my Erika, right blade for the right job - changing is quick once you get used to it!

you're probably right. I might have to invest in a couple of blades. which ones do you have?

Standard blade, fine tooth panel blade, rip blade, plus CMT solid surface blade.

Rather than try to address your query directly, would suggest Googling "table saw blade ringing".
Here in the UK several sites came up, which will have you better understand what might be going on
- even if doesn't lead a definite solution with the blade you are using just now.
In that vein, would interested if you have same issue with other blades.
One thought that crossed my mind was: is your Erika sitting on a 'solid' even surface - I'm curious as
to whether there might be some, really weird, vibration being set up if the Erika frame can 'vibrate' (in a particular way)
- perhaps almost imperceptibly...
