Not all new - but nice to see and feel.
Mafell / Kluge edgebander - this is a thing of great beauty!

LO-FA edge guide for LO-65
Pretty cool, comes with max and min fine adjusts for grooving. The way it was set up, it had 2 rail stops for length start and finish, plus the fine adjusters on max-min for recessing in a stair tread. Also has a support foot for the part of the router not on the rail. Didn't get the part number or price!

Not totally new, but very nice, usual Mafell quality. Standard 43mm mount.
...this is also used as the motor for...

This!.. it is not available, merely a prototype at this point in time :
...a very nice looking edge trimmer.

No update on the cordless P1CC - it is in development, we just need to wait!
No news on a mid sized router - not even on the drawing board!
Mafell Erika updates are cosmetic due to regulations for the blade guard, nothing 'new' here, except the LED; no change in dust extraction efficiency.
The Erika rip-fence has been/will be discontinued - (it's not brilliant accessory), nothing coming out to replace it.

Nothing else from Mafell.
Only other item I got a look at was the Festool saw-stop site saw. Nice quailty, look like a CS70 unsurprisingly; I saw no other new stuff from Festool.

Great stuff aas, thanks.
What's the screw in the center of the track in the LO-FA photo? Just to keep it in place for the show or other purpose.
I imagine the newer higher voltage batteries are helping to bring the cordless P1 along.

Do you mean with the red thumb screw?
It is the 2nd fine adjuster. Lets say you want to do several grooves at 35mm with a 20mm bit, you can set the two adjusters and move the position of the router on the guide by loosening the two adjusters on the bars, and still go back and repeat on another piece of wood, without having to set it all up again.

Hi ass, do you know the size of the spindle in the NFU 50. I would get one but would need a head that could cut 44mm wide. I could buy non mafell ones for my old NFU 32 so wondering if i could do the same. i understand the mafell adjustable one goes from 22 to 40. which wouldn't suit 19mm ply either Thanks Padr

I've measured the width in pixels of the cutter and the bore - working out at 30mm.

It’s 30mm. So that’s a standard size for cutters. I checked by looking at the Mafell ‘Service Catalogue’ website - the user instructions are given for all Machines. Here’s the links NFU 50 instructionsMafell Service Catalogue

Thanks aas and bicycleclip sorry for the delayed response. 30mm a good size and the same as the old NFU. It looks like a very useful machine which with the right cutter could do a lot more than the old machine.
