I don't get on here as much as I would like but when I have looked in the forum has been choked with spam from this goldensun person(mainly),there seems to no moderating done to remove this and the person involved.perhaps the mods are like myself and just haven't the time due to work/family commitments or such like.would any other member volunteer to be a mod?personally I can not for the reasons mentioned,also i'm fairly computer/tech illiterate! would hate to see the forum being destroyed by people like this.

I was just having a conversation by message with another member here this week about the same issue... shame to see it die.
But really, people like Goldensun - what do they get out of it?.. seems like a huge waste of time for no return... or is this being done by bots?
My guess is that most of the members here (with enough money to be buying Mafell, let's be fair!) spend a lot of time working and no free time to administer / moderate. The mods have always done a great job, probably just as busy as we are!

I am retired and could help out if one of the admins can grant me the admin privileges. Other than killing off some spammers I can't see how it would eat up a lot of time.
Jalvis has not logged in for 4 year, Ghost not since September......Jonathon has been recent, perhaps he can see if Ghost is coming back.

It would be good if you (or someone else) could... try sending a message to Jonathan - I did and got no reply, but maybe he'll be back on here at some point.

seems not happening, seems I was right and "admin" is only mods, without administrative rights to clean up?
