Have been looking for a one... not intesly, but kept an eye for for about 3 years and about a month ago landed myself "as new" for sale on a gumtree, by retiring (lovely English carpenter). Drove 2.5hrs (and back) to Wales - half point between us to get it and yay! I'm a proud owner of 110v LO50E now, just need to find the right job to start using it, as I have 4 other routers. Only issues in testing noticed are need for guide bushings in a right size simply unavailable and is rather tricky to create precise adaptation for alternative ones. Didn't have a chance to test FesTool smaller routers (copies of Mafell), only worked with a beast of2200 and it has been almost as magic as the LO50E, but being way smaller it felt simply amazing. Best of luck in your quest to find one, as sometimes blind spot of luck might be the one!  |
