It appears that Starmix has released a retrofit Systainer and Sortimo adapter plate:
Interesting to note that it interfaces with Systainers with either the four tabs, or with a T-Loc tab. Also, Sortimo boxes. Other notes:
-- Like the Nilfisk ATTIX vacs, it has the option for "ears" for hose storage
-- The adapter plate appears to clamp on the handle of the vac, and videos show it being installed on a few different vintages of Starmix vacs. It appears to attach without the need for fasteners
I REALLY appreciate that Starmix developed this product, as I'm sure it'll help sell vacs to those who really want/need to dock toolboxes to their vacs.
For myself, my pendulum is actually swinging the other way, in that I've learned to appreciate keeping the vac as "lean and mean" as possible. I've found that as soon as I start docking Systainers to my vac I find myself less inclined to move it around. Since I primarily work on one-to-three day projects, mobility is very important to me, so I might hold off on this for the time being....
