Hi guys,

I'm in the market for a router table fence and I think I've narrowed it down to either

Incra Wonder Fence

or Jess'Em Mast R Fence II

I'm simply looking for a fence, not the Incra LS positioner!
Other than that, I have no need for offsetting the faces of the fence for jointing, so that feature would be wasted on me.
The most important criteria for me is actually dust collection.
As I'm in Belgium I'll have to import and it'll end up costing me a lot due to customs charges, so price isn't really a concern.

Anyone who has seen/used either of these and wishes to share their experiences/opinions? Maybe there's something better out there I don't know about?

Is the wonderfence useable on it's own or is it not just an attachment for the positioner?

I'm pretty sure you can use it as is on any table without a LS positioner.

As it stands right now, so far I'm leaning towards the Jess'Em.

On the Incra, I'm not liking the double fence deal and how the front fence is shorter than the one behind it. Makes for a very bulky ordeal it seems. Not too sure about the dust collection approach either to be honest, which is the most important thing for me.

Both companies make very good products, in fact Jessem makes INCRA's router lifts.

This is a pic of my router fence, looks closer to the jess em than the incra but likely not as nice as either. I am posting the picture in order to discuss dust collection. My fence looks to have a similar dust collection port to the jess em. I get good dust collection when the bit is up above the table but in order to get excellent I have had to rig a second dust hose underneath the table at the router.

If dust collection is your biggest priority you may want to start thinking about ways to add collection at the router location under the table too.

Although to Maximize dust collection you will need multiple locations such as above and bellow and for some cuts a dust hood.
