I recently picked up a Mafell MT55 and a bunch of rails second hand. The saw is from 2013, but seems externally to be in really good condition and on thinner material up to 18mm it cuts like a dream if a little "crunchy" sounding on start up? However recently I have been cutting a lot of 25mm ply and the saw will stall if I cut through at that depth/attempt to unless I push SUPER slow. The blade seems sharp and was apparently (according to the seller) recently sharpened. Is there something I should be doing differently or is this normally?
Thanks in advance for your help

The blade could have been recently sharpened but badly, so it would feel sharp but not be any good for cutting!.. buy a new blade, this is not normal.
