Had a quick look, the domain name was registered early this year. The site seems to be an online marketplace, Frank Cochrane being one of the first to get his wares on the site. Nothing to suggest he is running at last a legit business whereby business owners like me can get 'a receipt' for monies paid - heaven forbid!.. still, it's a step in the right direction, instead of the previous contact by messages on Facebook, Paypal as a 'Friends and family' payment... I still use my hybrid mk4 weekly, no problems with it. I'm moving towards the likelihood of providing a couple of small products myself (unrelated) and Ive been reading the fine print over at PayPal. Came across 'Friends & family Payments' and it reminded me of being puzzled why F.C. would have requested payment that way. Turns out you get zero buyer protection if you make a Friends & Family transfer. Not that F.C. wouldn't stand behind such a well made precision product but it does take PayPal's arbitration out of any negotiation. Knowing PayPal's record, perhaps a shrewd decision on his behalf.

Against Paypal T*Cs... and it's dodgy as f*** to not be giving buyer protection.
As an asides I wanted to add a "wing" to the rail square so it sits better on the material when using Mafell rails - I realised why it is always tipping, the top surface is not level with the underside of the rail like it is on the Festool side, it has been machined down. Add to that the blotchy finish - it's not a refined well finished accessory, so I understand why he does 'Friends and Family' payments - grab the money and run.
