When it comes to Accessories its all about the Template Guide(#203980)  This tool is Like the Domino.....You really should use it with an Extractor to prolong the bit life and avoid burning of holes. Make sure you have 5 mm and 8 mm bits. 5 mm for shelf pin holes and 8 mm for cabinet construction. I also use Laurier Dowels from Trevor: www.laurierwoodcraft.comThe Dowels are compressed like biscuits creating far greater strength than solid wood dowels. Most people that have issues with dowel construction are due to low quality dowels but with Trevor's design it all goes away. I'm putting together an extensive review on Laurier Expansible Dowels and the Mafell Duo-Dowel combination. Between the two it's a game changer for precise and fast joinery and alignment! |
