I need to buy some sandpaper for my mirka handy. I found a kit on amazon.co.uk that is super cheap. However, they won't ship to the USA. Was wondering if anyone here could purchase it and ship it to me. I would cover costs and your time.
If not, no worries. Just thought I would ask.

Which Mirka handy? What is the width? I bought some 25M rolls of 70-mm from the states (120, 180, 240), and I think they had other widths. I have used about 750mm off the 240 grit. Let's see if these are the ones?

I didn't know Mirka also made the 'Roundy' (thanks). It looks like a great little solution to sanding/feathering small to medium wall patches without having to worry about dust. Just a hose and a block so no trouble storing it on the truck. Dirt simple.

I use a non vac wood river brand version of the roundy all the time. It's crazy how much I use the damn thing. When I saw the roundy I found a company in the U.K. And had them send me one.
I highly reccomend it.

Not answering for zuikinut, but I'll mention I went looking for the Roundy for myself and could not find anyone to ship to usa. Mika usa & Finland wouldn't help either.
Then I remembered that when you try phone sales suddenly those shipping restrictions to other countries evaporate.
Tried Axminster (email) and they took my money. Only caveat is they forgot to include shipping in the P.P. invoice I paid so now I've been waiting over a week for them to get back with a shipping quote.
*updated - so ship was £14.75 / tool £28.21 + PayPal = about $60usd, pricey for a crap hose and a plastic sanding block with some holes in it but it should be very simple & effective for drywall patches.

Little hose is gummy which is good, the conical end fitting works very well with both vacs - stays put. It rolls up small enough that I'll prob just store it inside one of the vacuum canisters, etc. Have some patches drying now and tomorrow will test it out, can't see it not working well for what it is (when used with hard directional side light).

I don't know what brand my non-vac sanding block is, I think I ordered it from Anderson Plywood, but it's a hard yellow foam and is also my go-to for small stuff since it just uses my existing media. Though I like that the Roundy uses larger discs. ------------------------------------------- *follow up- Yup, you guys are right it's a great manual system for small stuff. I held a high lumen flashlight in one hand and the mirka handy in the other, very fast, very clean. Feathering is excellent and the suction makes for less sanding time. Very pleased.
