Its amazing whats required to build a product. I cant imagine going through patent law to manufacture something.

Yeah but companies going down that route will have a team of advisers and professionals to carry out the ins and outs of it all. A while back I read an article on it and the benefits of achieving a patent are well worth it in the UK can't speak for the rest of the world but greatly reduce the tax hill and other benefits as well. It is worth looking into for a manufacturer company. There is certain things that can't be patent obviously like a table but a type of finish effect could be or how a process of how something is joined like the joints maybe click together like click flooring I know that you can get kitchen cabinets that can click together
