I realized that the tilting foot has another function to it due to its very wide width: It works great if you're making cuts where almost the other half of the side of the jigsaw is unsupported. A real "duh" moment to me since I already had it and never thought to use it in a straight 90 degree cut as I got it for the angled cut capability.
Did some cuts with it today with it instead of the normal P1cc 90 degree foot and it worked great. You can really push the P1cc for stability in the cut and just lightly pull upwards on the opposing (Unsupported side) and have that stability where you don't have any bounce or tipping.
I wish Mafell actually built some dust collection (Like a really low profile design) into it. I might have to experiment with making something that just mounts into it so it'll pull some of the dust from the front away for straight 90 degree cuts for now.

Hi. I got a dust extractor that has a blower function. One could mount the hose in a way so it blows the dust instead of sucking it. But be sure to wear some sort of dustprotection/respirator..

The P1cc's blow function still works with the tilting base, it just throws a cloud of dust in front of it. I am thinking of making something that just mounts on the tilting base to accept a small crevice tool to the side from a vacuum cleaner.
