A great overview of the Metabo BS 18 LTX BL Quick, which is the drill Mafell licensed.

There is 25% off Mafell products at the moment in a store over here so I got me the Mafell version. Price was roughly the same as for the Metabo - after the discount (...) but it surely is a very nice drill.
Centrotec chuck fits on it and the impuls function was immediately used and very handy. I have some 3.1 LiHD batteries from Metabo and switched them over to the drill, makes it more comfortable for sure.
I like the quality metal chuck for the Mafell/Metabo. Grip is a little larger than on Festool T18 but still comfortable. I got the Mafell despite having Festool T18 since the Metabo/Mafell drills so much better when drilling larger diameter drills in wood. I also have the Festool DRC but I find that the Metabo/Mafell is even better than the DRC.

There is 25% off Mafell products at the moment in a store over here... / Henrik Which store? They are called Theofils. The sale applies to everything in stock, as long as stock lasts. I was tempted to snag a DD40G but managed to resist. I have both Domino machines so I don't think I'd get that much mileage out of the DD40.

Ouch, expensive site... looking at their prices, -25% would still be more expensive than buying from Germany!

Probably, yes. Since it is deductible for me / my company I prefer a local dealer for Warranty issues etc. Would not have bought it at full price though!
