I got an A10 yesterday. I've noticed that when I release the trigger there is a spark in the motor area. Is this normal ?

Yes this is normal with most brushed tools. You can probably see slight sparks as it turns too... unless we are talking about major fireworks here, I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks ! Not major fireworks no, but enough to notice. In the meantime I had a look at a couple of video of the tool on youtube and you can see sparks. Even in the official Mafell video, so yeah I guess it's ok !!

It's even common in the first week or so you run it, since the brushes need to be worn in to the shape of the commutator.
