Can someone with an MT55 take a couple of pics of the bottom of the saw so I can see how the slots look and would adapt to the rail? Are there anti-wear strips at all for either the F-rail or the blanking plate for use with Festool guides? Thank in advance!

Here you go Mr. TJ, The black piece with 4 allen heads come off for the FT-rail. Roughly 120-mm away from the arbor side of the blade. Cheers, Mr ~Holmz (aka "The Dude")

Thank you!! Does not look like there are any anti-wear strips on the slot, but maybe this design makes it unnecessary. Appreciate your help!

I can take off the 4 screws if you want me to.
The base has something coating it that is grey which between a teflon scanpan, power coating, and porcelain. It is slicker than owl $hit.
but the Bosch slot is machined, which have to be after the coating.
Alternatively are you invested in the F rails? Do you have other F Rail tools? Do you need to kick the saw off of 90 degrees?

Do you need to kick the saw off of 90 degrees? I have several F rails and I have several Festool rails - so I have every combination handy . If it is not too much trouble on the blanking plate that would be great. I am wearing the TS75 base and it does not have the wear strips like the TS55 has so I was just curious.

... If it is not too much trouble on the blanking plate that would be great. ... There are 4x T20 torx holding it on. The remaining two black plastic pieces with the Torx heads appear to be eccentrics to tighten it to the track. Your other option is to dispose of the tracks and the TS75 all at once. But that does not make it easy if you actually need a larger saw... Then you need a Bosch or Mafell saw to fit on the Bosch rail.

Thanks! Looks like the plastic where the screws mount would glide on top of the Festool rail. Nothing on the sides, but might be a non-issue with the magnesium base.
I do have the KSS80 saw so capacity is not an issue, but some things I like a plunge cut saw better than the KSS. The kSS has no way to adjust for any slop on the rail, minor as it might be. I need precision for many cuts, hence a plunge cut saw.
Appreciate the pics!!!
