The bag in my dust deputy was almost full so I decided to try my hand at a quick video to show off how it performed. There's about 24L of dust in there, of which I'd say 75-80% MDF from routing operations. This thing really works well!
(My apologies for the bad narration, but hopefully I got the point across)

Agreed, really good video. I like the dust deputy as well. Mine has a clear funnel on the top, otherwise identical, it's fun to see how much dust its eating during a cut. Clients seem to like that part too.

I have the Ultimate Dust Deputy on my CT22 which allows me to use my system for dovetail cutting with my Leigh Dovetail jig and also use it as a shop vac without having to use multiple Festool bags. Great video and I also like the camera shot inside the bag!
I also have the Oneida V-3000 for my shop machines and my shop has never been cleaner.

Great video Jonathan, thanks for sharing! I too own an Ultimate Dust Deputy, I bought it for collecting cementitious dust on-site with my CT-26 but found it to be cumbersome to move around all day. Now I have my Metabo/Starmix vac for cementitious dust, and my Ultimate Dust Deputy comes out for projects where I will be producing larger volumes of dust, for instance using a thickness planer or router table. One a side note, I noticed that on your dust collector underneath your miter saw you have the Festool Sys-Adapter mounted, I wonder if that would be a handy way to rig a systainer adapter for our Starmix vacs?.... www.festool.com/Products/Accessories/Pages/Detail.aspx?pid=768115&name=CT-accessories-SYS-AP-CT-36-HD
