I know the NFU 50 is an aggressive tool, but does it cut cleanly cross grain, on a track?
I envision using it on a MFT style table for tenoning. I'm cutting hundreds and hundreds of tenons, and although a shaper/moulder is ideal, I am trying to keep my shop portable.
I like the ease of setup/use of the NFU 50. I could also batch out rows of tenons at a time.

This is due to how the knives are set, the knives on the side of the block are set slightly ahead of the knives around the circumference of the block, so the grain is cleanly sliced before the waste is removed. It is the same principle as the cutter block on the MF26.
The NFU50 can be used on the KSS rail or an F-rail, but due to the aggressive nature of the machine (i.e. the amount of wood being removed) it is recommended to use the special rails for it if you intend cutting several at the same time. It would not take much for the machine to jump off an F-rail, and that could be messy and dangerous.
The other option would be to get the long 670mm KSS rail.
