Ok, so my intention here is to create a one-stop spot for the capabilities and specs on the Erika saws. Mafell lists their maximum blade height, as well as their crosscutting abilities, table dimensions and weight, but they omit things like: What is the maximum rip capacity to the left or right of the blade? What is the total footprint of the saw, including knobs, handles, etc..... What is the height of the saw when folded for transport? With the standard table, are there different rip capacities depending on which fence you are using? What are the expanded rip capabilities with the expanded table?
I would encourage anybody with helpful info to post, I will do my best to edit this top post with the info so new users don't necessarily have to read the entire thread. Or, alternately, is this something the Moderators could help with?
Thanks guys!
Example:
Erika 70 Maximum cutting depth at 0 bevel: Maximum cutting depth at 45 bevel: Maximum crosscut capacity with draw function: Maximum crosscut capacity with sliding table: Maximum rip capacity with standard table, Universal Guide Fence: Maximum Rip Capacity with standard table, Multipurpose Guide Fence: Maximum Rip Capacity with standard table, Parallel Guide Fence: Maximum Rip Capacity with extended table:
Table Dimensions (Width x Depth): Overall Dimensions (including knobs, handles, etc....): Saw height (Folded for transport): Saw height (ready for use):
