I know it's the same as the Metabo, but I got a deal and it was cheaper than a barebones Metabo, but with 1x batt, charger and quick release paddle and adapter. It's very quiet, has lots of torque, very progressive speed control through the trigger, light weight too.
There is a new Collomix cordless with a 2 speed gearbox, but it adds weight and costs more, so I went with the single speed.

Isn't it the same as Flex MXE 18.0-EC 2, but the battery fitting?

Couldn't tell you... doesn't look the same, and I've not heard of a link up between Flex and Collomix.

Correct, my bad, Collomix isn't Flex, it's somebody else's pattern... the reason I jumped in to my (wrong) guestimate, couple of weeks ago, had plasterers with that Flex cordless mixer, seemed almost OK- viable option to change from corded, as for a whole day of plastering (mixing) for a x3 man gang - at least x4 bags of bonding and x4-5-6? bags of finish he used x3 batteries (x2 + 1'st one after re'charging), I'd guess Collomix would be the same. ANW, the funny part- they still had cables out for lights...

What battery platform does Flex use?.. I thought it was their own.
Cordless lights are a pain, not found any that don't run out fast. The Metabo 18v LED lamp wrecked one of my 8,0ah batts as it just kept going until the battery was so low it wouldn't recharge... so I've got mainly corded lights, and the cables can be put safely out of the way and then they don't move.

Correct, Flex uses it's own battery fitting format, that is ( ) (Identical)- The same as somebody else's (can't think off the name to do comparison) The mixer is copy of somebody's, not sure who's again....🤷♂️ Battery lights could work for a carpenter at the very best, but for the plasterer hardly ever, as they need really good lighting. Your "killed" or "dead" battery is possible to re'start, by connecting to the similar battery directly wire to wire for few seconds... Try YouTube search, as I'm sure I've seen someone doing "restart of dead battery" Cheers! 🍻 (Bit tired today, sorry to not to be much helpful)

Nope! although looking at it again- not sure if it is the same (new?) fitting to what I had in Ni-Cd, that was identical to some or the other...
