I was looking at the new 5" DeWalt Brrushless (corded) grinders; does anyone have any info on them? They're ~half the price of Bosch in that same size/power range, and seem to have ok reviews.
I have a small concrete surfacing job that they look like they'd be just the ticket, but wasn't sure of their dust / vibration ratings (none mentioned this, but I'm not surprised in NA that dust isn't mentioned, or other ergonomics.

Dewalt, Millwaukee, Makita etc. rent space for their tools in the box stores so they are fully behind the liberal return policies. They want you to try it out risk free, it's part of their biz strategy.

Does it have the full dust shroud?.. if so, connected to a good vac it should be OK. I haven't touched DeWalt for years, but recently got the cordless concrete nailer - pretty nice tool. Not much to go wrong with a grinder if it's well made in the first place.

I ended up going with the Bosch CSG15. I got it on sale for $210, so I couldn't pass it up. Very happy I waited. It's a beast. Low vibration, high power, almost zero dust, and the edge grinding hatch was easy to open and close, and didn't pop open ever (common complaint on DeWalt). Also came with a wheel that lasted a long time (two jobs so far) and leaves a very nice surface.
While it lacks the adjustable handle of the Metabo, the price and that the Metabo doesn't come with the wheel tipped me over.
