Very late reply, but yes, I do have one. I think it works great. Since I use it for sheet goods only I think it does the job well, and I have the Bosch/Mafell rails. I can elaborate a little but if the info is of no further use for you (since your posting) I won’t bother.

Hey John, been busy. Most of the time. 😁 Took time off from social media but have been lurking around.
I don’t run much Mafell gear anymore so I have not been active on MUF.
Still into quality tools, of course, so I try to keep up with what’s going on. 🤓

Yah, haven't seen you here or at the FOG for some time. What have you replaced your Mafell gear with? Any new tools or projects you'd care to share? Always appreciate your posts.
John

I wanted the Bosch as a beater for the van - ended up putting the MT55 18 in the van and it is my daily track saw.

John: I had a longer stint with Hikoki gear for the daily use and abuse. Some of the Japanese made Hikoki tools are first rate. They are keepers for use in the workshop as well as in the field. Like all other brands Hikoki are lacking in some departments and there is the odd dud in the line up. But for cost and performance they are really good. Saves me some monies for the more fun tools! Last couple of years I have moved into a larger workshop and invested in (mostly) Felder machines. I slimmed down the battery powered tools and had a major clean out this spring. Actually sold a lot more than I thought I would and freed up a lot of shelves to the point it looked kind of empty… Always fighting for space and tired of hauling gear I have consolidated a few set ups so that I (at least on paper) will have less kit to haul around. At the moment I am back into Bosch 18V territory as a base kit, the Bosch GKT 52 is seeing quite a lot of use and it is a really nice saw. I don’t find it lacking for sheet goods and I use it kind of like the Festool HKC55 with the short angle attachment. I appreciate the small footprint of it. Just got me the new Bosch jigsaw to go along with it and rounded it off with a Fein Ampshare Multicutter that takes Bosch batteries. With the Bosch 216 cross cut saw I have most of the sawing dedicated to Bosch for now. I still have the Festool HKC55 with a few rails since it is indispensable for the rougher carpentry for me. I wish I could replace it eventually but there is no comparable Bosch or Hikoki out there. As for jobs, it’s been a mixed bag. Lots of renovations, the odd custom kitchen, some larger bookshelves, speaker builds and the odd furniture and a few music studios. Looking back on the past two three years it has been crazy and at times exhausting. But good times. I will look back on what I have done recently and see if there is something I can share here. The market is slowing down a little over here and at the moment it is kind of nice as it gives me time for some reflection and I get stuff done around the house. If it slows down too much I have already scaled down my expenses so I can weather it out as long as it is not a permanent decline in the woodworking business. At the moment there is still enough small to medium jobs to fill out the calendar with. How about you John? Everything chugging along well? Any cool builds or projects? I feel like I have been in a ”blur” socially for two to three years so I have a lot of catching up to do. It is just recently I have started catching up on new tools. / Henrik
