For those using the Festool work tables and CMS system, you're aware that all of the work tables have a common work height of 900mm/35 7/16". Even the MFT/Kapex is designed so that, with the Kapex saw on the table, the saw table is the same height as a standard MFT/3. After I started using my CMS/OF router table I very quickly learned to appreciate using my tables as handy out feed tables. It occurred to me though I could modify my other bench top tools to take advantage of this system. For now, I've cut down the legs on my Bosch GTS 1031 table saw to match the 900mm table height, which makes for a handy work station setup. I recently finished prepping an extensive remodel project for sheetrock, which included ripping up hundreds of feet of furring strips so the new sheetrock will plane out with the existing plaster. It was really nice to be able to utilize my work tables for cutting, out feed support, etc… My next project is to create a sub base for my thickness planer, with the idea of setting it on my MFT/Kapex, and using my regular MFT/3 tables as infeed and out feed stock supports. Does anybody know the table height of the Erika saws? How cool would it be if they come from the factory at a compatible height? What other tools could be modded to serve this same functionality?

The new Erika table saws are 89cm in height The MFT/3 is 90cm in height as far as i know (don't own one), so you have to get the Erika 10mm higher to use the MFT as extension etc. :-(

Not a problem!! I'd rather that the Erika was too short than too tall. At 890mm, all I'd need to do is add a 10mm "shoe" to the bottoms of the feet to bring the saw up to 900mm. I'd rather add material to the Erika, versus cutting down the Erika.
Alternatively, a guy could cut 10mm off of his Festool legs, but then I'd be cutting 12 legs, so I'd rather just add a little to the Erika legs. Thanks for the specs!

I think just simply a sheet of 10mm osb or 9mm ply cut legs seems a bit extreme

Continues tables can be a real help in a small area. It seems like European companies standardize there height but from company to company.
My Felder equipment is the same height from machine to machine.
