So, I like this saw still; one of the detracting factors for it are that 20mm arbor blades are not plentiful, and I am currently struggling with justifying putting a $100 (approximately) blade from Timberwolf; especially since I intend to use it for demo work in the nearish term, and I just cannot bring myself to use a $100 blade knowing I'm almost certain to hit a nail or nine and ruin my brand new blade.
I know I've seen some posts on this, and importing, so thought I'd ask what US-based users do.

I saw that...wasn't sure they were worth it; even they're $70 each...

Yep, I warned you that there's not a lot of choice!.. get another Mafell blade and keep one for best!

I'm not perturbed, honestly. The little that I have put it through so far has made me a happy camper; I do intend to buy a few more Mafell blades, and try some others out (I see calidecks mentioned an Oshlun for the KSS400 in this post: mafell-users-forum.freeforums.net/post/14755), I'm mostly curious about what to do about the odd nail when making openings / removing sub-floor with flooring still down to make a floor repair where it's not viable to remove the planks first.

Do you have any issues using that? I've been quite tempted to give it a shot, but wasn't sure about balance or vibrations.
Also, it looks like the OD of that is 20mm, so I'd need a 20mm ID:1" OD, unless I've got it backwards again.

Only use Mafell blades ,the client pays for consumables .If your only cutting flooring a 160 mm beater blade will work. For demo work a cheap sidewinder or worm drive would be cheaper .

Bosch has their version track saw in NA, so are they offering blades under their brand name as well?

Yes, however, the kss60 is a 185mm saw, 20mm larger than the 165mm Bosch track saw. In practice, it means I may get a smaller blade to beat up for demo work.
I quite like the Mafell blade, but at the cost per blade, I'd rather not use it for nail detection...

So, perhaps I'm foolish here, but it seems some here use these saws for cutting hardiboard, metal panels, etc. with the correct blade. Is there something mechanically different in cutting boards with nails (with the correct blade), vs those scenarios? kraftt, yes, I was eyeing those, wasn't sure if anyone had tried 'em. In any case, appreciate all the input from you all. Makes my life easier, and I get to use your experience to learn vs. my own. I think the quote is "Standing on the shoulders of giants"or something to that effect.

Agree with Kraft. Get a 'beater' saw or two. I have 2x Evolution saws with 'demolition' blades: one chop + one regular. Had them quite a few years now and very satisfied - given the type of blade, the cuts are surprisingly decent as well. Fwiw, I have also have cheap 160mm blade track saw that fulfils the same 'beater' purpose. To be fair, their use goes in fits and spurts - maybe not used for a while, but then something comes along, and I think 'not sure I like the look of this...' - & out they come. Well worth it.
