So, a few years ago I had an opportunity to attend a factory training session at Mafell in Germany. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and it was really neat to be able to tour the factory and handle every tool they produce.
Anyways, on the day we learned about the timber framing tools Oliver wanted to demonstrate how the Z-5 can be used by two people to free-hand cut compound miters. It was my first time handling the Z-5, let alone any other timber framing tool (I'm a residential remodeler), but I was impressed that after my first test cut I was able to follow the pencil line within a mm or so on my second cut. Pretty nifty tool.
I had forgotten that one of the Timberwolf Tools staff had taken a video of the demonstration (back in 2018), and just posted the video to YouTube recently:
