Well, Tool Nut is out of the Mafell business. Shane confirmed on FOG today that as of the end of the year, they are no longer selling Mafell (even though Mafell products have already been removed from their website).
I had purchased some accessories from them for my P1cc, but purchased both my machines from Timberwolf, primarily because they ship using FedEx, which I prefer (and ship from Chicago, which is closer to me). Tool Nut uses either UPS or USPS.

Tool Nut uses either UPS or USPS.It was NOT UPS as they went on and on about their great service, but would never ship anything USPS. Shane himself said, "l'll sort it out". And I have read dozens of people bare (internet) testimony to the TollNutz and Bob Moreno, however when one calls to make a transaction you would swear that you were their first customer ever. So while they're nice, I could never get anything actually sent to me... ending with stammering on about they have no control over the shipping department, blah, blah, blah, 'I appolgize, I am sorry'. The timberwolves actually fulfilled an order... charged and sent, without the "overly nice guy" politeness of the eneffectual saleman. it is like being Santa's knee where one is looking up through the grey beard and answering, " the same pony I asked for the last three years".

It was always my understanding that Toolnut was on a 'trial' basis with Timberwolf allowing them to sell only certain mafell items. I guess the trial period is over. Not to worry, I found these great prices and cheap shipping right across the boarder on Amazon Canada:

Well I think it is BS. They had stuff on offer, but would never send it.

Ca$hflow issues seems a probable explanation, to me.
Glad those of you in the USA still have Timberwolf for your Mafell distribution (& retail) needs.

I suspect Toolwolf as usual with their crappy USA warrantee, jacked up prices, lame package deals, lack of knowledge about product etc.
I’m more that happy to forego any skimpy warrantee and buy overseas at a serious savings. Even if I had to order a spendy repair part I would still be ahead of the game at their markup. Maybe they’ll have to release their distributorship soon and we can get someone better qualified who believes enough in the product to offer a real warrantee and competitive pricing. If I were the only U.S. dist I would also look into getting certified for repairs to keep my territory happy instead of shipping back to mafell.

Well to Be fair TimberWolves prices seem to have gotten better over the last year. Secondly, they at least will complete a sale, which is more than i can say for the Nutz.

As to pricing, there was no price increase from Mafell for North America this year (2017). Because of that, I am trying to decide if I should make another purchase before the Mafell 2018 price increase, assuming they do increase prices. While I would love a second year with no changes, I won't hold my breath for that! Regarding the 1 year warranty for North American purchases, I could be wrong, but I think that policy is set by Mafell, not Timberwolf.

I much prefer UPS in my neck of the woods (performance varies, regionally, with parcel carriers). But I will accept Fedex if it also has a Timberwolf sticker on it.

It is not rocket science to deliver a package, no matter how pretty it is.

It is not rocket science to deliver a package, no matter how pretty it is. I got the impression Timberwolf had a bad experience with UPS as a delivery service, so they are now exclusive to Fed Ex. Which is fine with me since I love FedEx.....

That's pretty much why anyone ever likes one or dislikes the other. 😄 It all comes down to the local hubs, reps and drivers.

The subject title of this thread should probably be changed to "Timberwolf no longer offering free shipping, suckers." 😂
