Sold by amazon EU S.a.r.L. (ordered through amazonUK, ships from Amazon's facility at Sarl located in Lëtzebuerg, Luxembourg.).
Or are you asking if I tried Axminister / Toolstop etc.?
fwiw - the Orbital deal was £99 + £95 shipping = $257us + when PayPal gets involved they rip you off for at least an additional $20 in transaction fees / exchange. Understand that they have it out for me personally and each succeeding purchase they throw more on because I've beat them each time by squealing to my card company that they are charging more than agreed amount and my card company wipes out their payment each time. I also find when sellers, that don't advertise that they ship to America, start calculating they tend to add on some of their own fees. So I think I was in for about 280 easy. Then I would attempt to sell one rail and bag for $125US and that leaves me with one F160 and one connector for around $155 + hassle of dealing with PayLeech and selling/shipping unneeded items.
Amazon on the other hand set an exchange rate of 1.347ish (includes all their fees) and set shipping at $28 (would have been a bit less if I selected 'standard', plus I added on blade & end caps). No hassles, amazon should be easy to deal with if shipping damage. Rail + connector = $118 + ship =$146 but the blade might have added to ship cost. At $38 I thought blade was reasonable.

free as in they like to go off on their own, plus these are extras for cut rails.
turns out campbellmillertools let's you click to shop the site in USD and includes United States as a destination in their shipping calculator but then tell you they only ship within UK. grrrrr.

Of all the mods, diy's, etc. this has to be the most used and favorite. It's just a nickel & velcro stuck on out of frustration to the back of the base. I really dislike taking out and using the allen key for tightening / loosening rail connector.

Better than an Au 10 cent piece, or at least cheaper.

o - k
Go down to see who’s banging on the door. Open up with .45 tucked into my back belt.
DHL guy is standing there with a naked Bosch rail in his hands. (wtf) I ask “Wa, where’s the box?”. This Russian looking guy with glazed eyes appearing ripped out of his mind says semi apologetically in broken english “I dunno sir - this is how it come”.
Under porch lighting it looks pristine so I instinctively grab it like it’s my baby. As quickly he’s shoving the tiny digital signature pad in my face to sign. I tell him not so fast as I sight it for true & check for dents & scratches. Just fine. This was supposed to be the last item to come, scheduled for the 4th, when others items scheduled to arrive today never showed. Dumbfounded and suspicious I tried to get some explanation out of him but he wasn’t having it. So I signed as he snorted back whatever was already up his nose and sent him on his way. lol
Took another look inside and it’s perfect. I thought I would care that it had Bosch ink on it, and need to wipe it off, but I couldn’t care less, it’s nice. Lines up precisely as expected with my existing rails.
I miss the old days and Santa Claus.

That's weird, they should come in a small box which sometimes has two straps to prevent the box from opening up. Pretty impressive they made it to you safely like that via DHL. Thankfully they're reasonably priced enough for me to chop one up for reasons. A MT55/340 in a box!

You’re right holmz it doesn’t seem so precious but replacing a splinter strip on a “mafell rail “ with a blue Bosch one “they are cheaper here in uk “ uumm that might be a step too far ? Spoken by someone who buys tanos plain systainers “not Festool branded “ and pays extra to have red clips on them - maybe I’m a bit o.c.d ? That said due to price difference which is massive here I just buy Bosch rails now the price out does the o.c.d . It’s madness you can’t buy them in the states as we can Bosch is such a huge brand .

Still the biggest power tool mnf'r in the world. Taking into account all their other fingers in all those other pies: domestic, industrial electronics, power grid systems, automotive ABS, fuel & engine management systems, solar energy, power storage, etc. etc. etc. they're quite the behemoth.
Still publicly listed & privately controlled, despite being co-opted (unwillingly) into the Nazi war machine, it was founder Robert Bosch's uncomfortable experience during the Great War that motivated him to set up his charitable Foundation in his will. Basically, Bosch in perpetuity reinvests a significant proportion of profits into R&D expenditure & acquisitions. The remainder is subject to a mandate to be redistributed amongst charitable institutions, at the absolute discretion of the Foundation, comprised of family members & independent directors.
A quite unique (as far as I'm aware) situation in such a massive corporate entity. Such is the scale of cash flow (tens of billions) that quite meaningful & effective donations have been made over the past 70 odd years. Contrast this with the selfish, amoral, self-seeking almost sociopathic nature of most other publicly owned transnational giants.

There’s not so much as a scuff on it so I’m sure it had a box at some point. He did hand me a small slip of thermally printed paper. I think someone was doing their shopping inside the truck and the meth told him ‘good enough, just get it to the door now.’ The other items that previously showed as ‘out for delivery’ on amazon now show that they haven’t even made it to ‘dispatch’. And the blade now shows an apology notice for being late and that it will arrive next week. tis the season for giving (and taking).
