I get what the Zeta brings to the table, but what are the major differences between the classic line and the top line? The Top has more power and adjustable height. Is there more to it than that? Build quality?

I 'dunno'. The Zeta also does a regular biscuit with a different blade and no solenoid-wriggle if one is only needing occasional biscuits.
If you are doing mostly biscuits then you are on the right track with something other than the Zeta (In My guess).

Hi yetihunter, the Classic X and the Top 21 share the same base and fence. The Motor is an obvious difference. Both are very well built. Besides the hight adjustment the Top 21 has a soft start. Also the blade is held in a different way. There are 4 screws instead of one nut on the Classic X. There the blade is held similar to the ones on an angle grinder. I recently received the Top 21. It has to prove if I can use it like I'm hoping I can. Wehen I built my small horn speaker, I had to make an connection like so: Like a miter cut but the bevel only on one side of the wood. If you tilt the fence, the hight changes a little due to the offset of the pivot point of the fence with respect to the saw blade. So I think with the 1/10 mm steps of the blade adjustment, I gan get arount this issue. It was also possible back then, but not so easy Regards Martin
