Glad you got things sorted as well. I'm a firm believer that if you are not happy or extremely happy with something to let the companies know. Also as most of use the tools for a living and if you have any ideas for improvement to a tool it's also good to let them know. Yeah the jigsaw is amazing I don't use mine as much as a lot of people but when I do I know it's going to do the job I ask of it. There is none of this thinking am I going to be happy with the result

Last pic is of the first fit attempt. after minor adjustments it went in perfect with no gaps at all. These tools help make intimidating work more possible and fun. Each of the 4 risers were tilted on a different angle...no problem with a track saw. This client LOVES beadboard and none of the walls are framed very well so these tools have really saved us and our profitability.

Using my p1cc to take out just simple checks. The other joiner was amazed at how easy I could turn the jigsaw. It is great when you pick up a tool and it just works how you wish

Hia just got my p1cc last week with the tilt base extra and was really looking forward to it but to be honest a haven't been overly impressed u guys sorry to many put a downer on it and as I've only done few cuts on window cills and a few scribes on skirting and tried to rip 4*1" door check with it first a have the ct midi and the 27mm hose wouldn't fit on the dust port but a had a dewalt reducer nozzle that a cut to fit and that sorted it but the dust extraction was really dissapointing cut the waste off 1 window cill and there was dust all over floor the scribes where ok but still dust everywhere then with the rip on 4*1" Reyes the thicker blade and felt it struggled to cut so changed to the w2 blade witch was gd but I have been used to d handle type jigsaw so the blade not stoping right away caused few probs lol but that's my fault and will get used to it with practice I just felt I was in for an amazing tool after watching all vids and reading bout this jigsaw a was bit let down a don't think its bad its very gd but think a had an idea it was gona be the best thing I would ever use and ill prob get to enjoy it more with use ave got kitchen to fit in November that will b a good test of it Sorry tae go on a bit lol

Do you have the orbital setting turned all the way up? You shouldn't be having any troubles in material that is only 1" thick, I have cut much thicker cherry with no problem with needing (or wanting) more power. As far as the CT 27 mm hose just wiggle it on there with some pressure, it won't hurt the hose or the dust port. Don't feel like your post is critical or a "downer". I think I safely speak for everyone in saying that we value all information especially an honest critique. We are here to listen and also to help when able.

Hawkyjoiner- If you haven't already gone through this thread go to the bottom of page 8 and the top of page 9 and you will see some pictures that I posted with written details about the cuts. They are cuts where I stacked two pieces of 8/4 cherry and cut it with ease.
I am not suggesting that your difficulties are not legit but if your saw is having a hard time with one inch stock then something is wrong and we need to help you get it figured out.

Yep - we like honest reviews and no danger of getting them locked or deleted on this site. The DC on any jigsaw is not going to be perfect - this one is better than most, but a lot of dust/chips is exiting the bottom of the blade and the DC cannot capture it there. Have not tried the thicker blade since it is so costly...I have had perfect results with Bosch blades or Festool blades.

Your review is perfectly honest. When I got mine I had being used to the D handle, so same as you was to the blade stopping that much quicker. Then I was on a job and the other guy had the D type I felt I didn't have the same control. When the jigsaw struggling was it on the rip part of the cut or the cross cut. I've found it can struggle on the rip part of the cut. Usually the reason is I don't have the pendulum on and also trying to force the jigsaw along and not giving it time to cut and clear the waste. Usually I find if I back off slightly I get along better. The old saying let the saw do the work

Hi I have still not had another chance to use jigsaw again but think my problem was just getting used to new saw I had pendulum on full but was just supporting wood on my stool with my knee so was moving around quite a bit I think if I had clamped it down I prob wouldn't have had any probs I can't wait to do upcoming kitchen to give the saw a good workout and maybe ill have different view and start singing its praises on it I had just been bit dissatisfied after the hype I had built up for it
