Hi gang!
I will be traveling to Chicago in September to compete in the NXL Chicago Open, and since I'll be driving I thought it was the perfect opportunity to swing by Timberwolf Tools to meet the staff and drool over some tools. This will most likely be Wednesday September 6, though it could also be Monday September 11.
Are there any questions that you'd like asked, or photos of specific products you'd like me to take?
It sounds like there may be some exciting things from Mafell coming to North America soon, hopefully I'll have more info after my trip. I hope everybody is well and enjoying a great season (Summer or Winter depending on your hemisphere)!

Thanks for your public-spirited offer, Tom - a lot of folks here are wondering when the new Cordless Mafell circular saws (KSS 50 & MT55 18vBL mafell-users-forum.freeforums.net/thread/886/new-kss50-cordless-mt55) will be ACTUALLY available, so I'd appreciate you asking about that, although you might find that question being met with red faces, uncomfortable silence, evasiveness, or a dismissive canned answer... ...but Mafell (and their distributors) can hardly blame (or be surprised about) Mafell users who ask such a pertinent and legitimate question, so it's definitely fair game. Cheers.

Cheers. This is DEFINITELY high on my list of questions. Based on a conversation I had with Timberwolf a few weeks ago, it was suggested that there should be some reasonably firm answers awaiting me when I visit in September. For myself I was mostly looking at the KSS40, but I will be sure to ask about a cordless MT55 and KSS60 as well. Best, Tom

The 40 is a must, Tom. as I understand, mafell do not make a 110v version of the chargers. That being said, metabo chargers work perfectly

Tom, you may have already been there, but I would like to hear you impression of the 10.8 and 18V drills. Mostly because I would suspect you have been paws on many US tools...

I don't think the drills, or any battery operated tools are available in the US through Timberwolf. I'd like to hear why that is. It can't be because of the chargers, that's too easy to solve.

Ask them why their new website forgot to charge me sales tax. Then head way west on North Ave. and treat yourself to a Johnnie's Combo Sandwich (bring cash).
