Correction, I bought the tape from Axminster Tools - there's still a label on the box!

0.2mm is pretty good.

Certainly very much improved.
I might buy some 1.5mm polypropylene sheet (Slick Tape was 1.3mm) / decent double sided tape and try to get to zero. Nothing to lose as completely reversible and cheap!

Just out of curiosity: can someone who has access to other Mafell saws check if they also tilt away?
In some marketing videos, the "always on edge cut" is being advertised. However on request, I was told it's a feature to tilt away in order to preserve the guard for the 90° cut's.
Here Mafell sees the main use case, which is correct in my case. But think of horn speakers, where you have all kinds of random angles to cut (which I'm doing as a hobby).

Al last good old Bisch Basch Bosch done video about it Have few notes to add: 1- using "jig" he didn't disturb "Mafel Toeing" (few of us know about it) 2- depth change by that -1mm (not a biggy) 3- ... forgotten ... (getting old me)

Mine is off too...1mm. Good fix and step by step. I know it has been discussed here before. Seeing the video helped explain it.
