They don't list static pressure... I can get a lot of CFMs from a Shop Vac that pulls 10+ amps, but the design trades off static pressure for the airflow. That being said, I am happy with mine driving a cyclone.

Stating the obvious but very glad that the new regulations are creating a lot of new options and competition in extractors. Seems like prices for filter media could also drop because of this.

Like I said, glad to see a total lack of effort or forward thinking on milwaukees part and the monopoly keeping their status quo.

That's interesting, rated at 7.4A = 888 watts. I have a 1200W Starmix, and they don't claim 148 CFM, I wonder where they derive the extra capability. The 1400W motor is available in Europe as well.

What's funny is that the holding company that owns Milwaukee also owns Hoover & Dirt Devil (north american brand vacuums).

Like I said, glad to see a total lack of effort or forward thinking on milwaukees part and the monopoly keeping their status quo. I am not following what you mean with lack of forward thinking and monopoly? rebadging a Starmix does not create a creative or cleaver vacuum, but it is a wise business decision.

You have to read my comment before that. As for a wise business decision, I wouldn’t know how they will know that yet. As a short term strategy perhaps, but owning the IP and dominating the market by licensing & manufacturing for others (i.e getting them to sell your vacuum for you), while successfully inhibiting competition through market saturation, is easily the more profitable ‘choice’ for the long term.

Well I pulled the trigger. It seems very well made, love the auto filter clean feature.
