![]() So I just got my hands on a Hoffmann pds 32. From what others have said I was expecting a 700w machine but it's not. I have this same 700w machine and have never had a problem with it being under powered.

Does this mean it's a p version? Maybe Hoffmann sold both versions Maybe it is rated PG ?

It's 1000w and I'm happy about that. I'll never use 3mm or 16mm dowels

I'll never use 3mm or 16mm dowels yes i just checked mine is also 1000w. i use mine for 5 mm shelf pins and 8 mm dowels for cabinet box construction into plywood or melamine. Also have used it for oak hand rail fittings and jointing with 8mm dowels. its never let me down.
