I made one cut with my mt55cc it seems fine. I'll no more in real world use. I just ordered another that's 165mm x 20mm x 24. That's close enough for the kss50. The kerf is perfect. Imo

So that Profibohrer on the MT should be a sheet of thin paper (.045) closer than a mafell 162. But with how blades vary in person from printed specs you probably found the perfect match up. I hope it holds up, this would be a great source. Here’s a list of model numbers, if anyone is curious, with 20mm arbor from 160 (black) to 165 ( red). Wonder if their 170’s fit into a KSS50? 10319000 10040750 10040800 10041050 10041100 10364350
---------------------- My Bosch blade showed up yesterday afternoon - with a UPS label handed to me by my postman ? (I give up). It sure is a shiny blade, cheap looking. If it wasn’t for legit package, booklet etc I would think it was a knock off. Not impressed with finish or other details but I haven’t cut with it yet & that’s going to be all that counts.

Okay folks, I'm just not happy with the KSS50 or the KSS60.
I wanted to like them. I'll be selling both for cheap.

Blimey what are you gonna replace them with ? I’d be interested in the 60 but I’m in the uk.i guess if I bought the machine only with battery’s and it was shipped just as that it could work ?

For what? As a cheap cordless tracksaw maybe the new(ish) Bosch "57" may fit the bill. With its new (for 2018) 12.0AH batteries it's bound to have longer runtime than most, won't cost a king's ransom & presumably runs much cheaper 165mm blades.
OK, with a 15 cell battery fitted it's bound to be no featherweight, & like most (all?) pendulum saws will probably be pretty crap at plunge cuts, but what the hell. You can get 3 or 4 for the price of a KSS50, but (as it runs the Bosch/Mafell FSN system) you don't need to spend a penny extra on any new rails or accessories either.

Yep good point the kss300/40 is still for me probably the best “value “ for money “still bloody expensive though “but unrivalled in my opinion because of its uniqueness .that said I would still be interested in the 60 .do I need another saw probably not but mafell saws in my opinion are great to work with .are mafell value for money generally, now that could be a BIg debate

I'll be selling both for cheap. what decided you against the 50?was It lack of power?must be doubly disappointing for you having not only the expense but also having had to fly it halfway across the planet. I believe you found the 60 a little heavy for swinging around all day,is that which decided you on that? as I have said elsewhere I think the kss40 spoiled us a little, when the 50 was announced we all expected a turbo charged '40' with greater depth of cut, looks like that is not the case.
