I noticed that Mafell plunge saws also run on Festool guide rails, is that the case with the kss60 cordless as well? Cheers
Kevin.

It's only the mt55 that runs on the festool tracks. The rest of the mafell saws don't

One could cogently argue that the Festool saws are OK, so more usefull would be if Festool gear ran on Bosch rails. The fact the Mafell pivot axis is at 5-mm and the TS-55 is at 6-mm does not make it super usefull to put an MT55 on a FT rail... not to mention the FT rail's quality of design.

Thanks I was thinking the cable less kss60 on a mft would be an answer to some problems and some problems I don't have :-), Mafell don't do a router that runs on a track. So if I could of run the 60 on a festool track, then I could of used it for a Festool router as well. Mafell need an update in the router dept, not that I doubt the quality of the big lump they do, I want one that runs on a track as an option, unless I'm mistaken the LO65EC doesn't run on the Mafell tracks does it? I'm still favouring the 60, the 300 is so versatile having the 60 as well would cover a lot more basis. Oh well more than one way to skin a plank of wood.

Bosch makes an adapter for routers so they can run on mafell/Bosch tracks

Also there is a thread here about making the mafell bosch rails work on the mft table and use the bosch adapter for the router.

I have an LO50 (8-mm), which I like. Ergonomically it is more like a OF1400 than a OF1010, but I am not expert in the FT routers... Just a quick play in a shop.
I do have the Bosch base and that works with the LR-32 type of Bosch system.
There are a few LO50s moving cheaply, and a Bosch router seems a natural choice on a Bosch Rail.
The LO65 is more of a monster in terms of power. The 1/2" bits could be nice in terms of bit selection, but if it is a big bit, it may be too much for hand work.
The older Festool OF2000 may be a Mafell underneath...
