Personally, I've no interest in parallel guides in the style of festool's or similar products I'm very interested in knowing what method you use for quickly cutting repetitive pieces which have parallel sides, cut square. Hans For ripping sheets, I am using Festool tracks and the Parallel Guides with my MT-55cc. For crosscutting cabinet parts, if I want a stop system I'm using my MFT/3 setup or my Erika 70 with multiple 1m fences. Neither really fits well with my "Take the small thing to the big thing" mantra. Otherwise, I'm using my MT-55cc, using the "measure, mark, line up, then cut" method. For the GRS-16 (or comparable Mafell product), I'd love to see the option for attaching T-tracks with flip stops to achieve repeatable crosscuts. The Mafell angle fence is great, I just worry that it isn't 100% accurate. For most work it works great, but for $225 (Angle Fence plus a Connecting Piece) I bet that TSO could come out with something rock solid with some added functionality that may be of use to us......

to all the respondents to my original post: THANK YOU ! - and please accept my apology for not stating my appreciation more timely. the divergent views help to stimulate my thinking. Bottom line for me and us here at TSO: there clearly are aspects of the MAFELL universe with unmet needs. We do see solutions within our technical ability to execute. What keeps us from acting on these is the foggy economics for this innovation - the market just appears too small to make it pay.
TSO is a pretty lean and agile outfit. We won't let this drop but keep it on our RADAR for the right circumstance.
Is there a social media platform that serves the MAFELL universe where we might see more justification?

Beyond this site the only regularly active social media outlet for mafell that I'm aware of, is mafell UK's Instagram. There's much more market pebetration in Europe, and I've seen quite a few things coming out of Russia regarding mafell. As far as forums go, you're looking at it as far as I know

Afiak this is it! Maybe you could try you tube as there are a few posters there that seem to be eastern european/Russian as GF said.

thanks for shedding some light on the Mafell universe. As Mafell continues to grow in North America, we'll keep an eye on developments. When we see an economically viable opportunity to help with a specialized accessory or tool we'd love to step up to the plate.
All the Best for all the Mafellians in 2017!

I know this is a very old thread now, but i have only just moved into the Mafellverse. I would definitely be interested in a rail square and parallel guides. I use Festool parallel guides a lot, so these for Mafell rails would be really needed for me.

Just would like to point out that the Benchdogs rail square is bloody good. Upgraded to it after using a FSN WAN to build the first half of a bespoke kitchen on top a smaller mobile MFT-style workbench. It really made a difference, both in speed and quality. Especially on site work in close quarters really benefits.
