Data is arranged in this manner:
Blade (And similar geometries/equivalents, version I use/own is marked in *)
Blade material (Metric approximate) / Cuts / Set/Grind
Blade backside thickness (Approx .08" in)
Scrolling
Relative stiffness (When placed in P1CC)
Good cut speed / Pendulum setting (Starting point wise, most of these values are against a SPF 2x4 (Except for shorter/special blades) and for a clean(ish) non jumpy cut across the grain)
Personal remarks
Cut quality (Cut area of wood and splintering)
Bosch T308BFP
Bimetallic / Wood
.045" (1.14mm)
Like the T308BO
Fairly stiff
3-4 / 1-5
Has the same geometry as the T308BO down to the teeth. Only noticeable differences are the stiffness, the tone made by plucking the blade in the P1CC and the thin line on the T shank where you can see where the metal is bonded together
Super clean cuts
Bosch T308BO
High carbon steel / Wood / Tapered and ground
.045" (1.14mm)
Scrolls fairly well, moreso than the T234X
Not so stiff
3 / 1-3
Scrolls but wider radius than a T101AO.
Super clean cuts
Bosch T308B
High carbon steel / Wood / Tapered and ground
.045" (1.14mm)
Scrolls somewhat
Somewhat stiff
Have not used sufficiently
Can't be placed in the P1CC backwards at full depth, super clean cutting blade. Save this for when you really need a clean cuts without the splinterguard
Super clean cuts
Bosch T234X* / Mafell W5*
High carbon steel / Wood / Tapered and ground
.045" (1.14mm)
Scrolls somewhat
Somewhat stiff
2-4 / 1-3
Can't be placed backwards in the P1CC at full depth. Its a really good all around jigsaw blade and can be found around $1 each (The Bosch version) or so if you look for them or buy them in packs of 20 or more.
Mostly clean (Cross grain in plywood) to super clean cuts
Bosch T345X* / Mafell W+M2*
Bimetallic / Wood with nails / Set
.049" (1.24mm)
Have not used sufficiently
Not so stiff
Have not used sufficiently
Splintery and rough cuts that definitely need cleaning up. Jumpy cuts.
Rough cuts
Bosch T101AO* / Festool S 50/1,4K
High carbon steel / Wood / Tapered? and ground
.037" (0.94mm)
Super tight scrolling radius
Not very stiff at all
Have not used sufficiently
Can't cut thick materials. Last tooth on the blade extends past footplate by 13/16", total blade extension is about 7/8".
Fairly to mostly clean cuts
Bosch T144D* / Festool S75/4K
High carbon steel / Wood / Set and ground
.049" (1.24mm)

Fairly stiff

Bosch T344DP* / Mafell W3 / Festool S 105/4
High carbon steel / Wood / Set and ground
.0665" (1.66mm) / .055" (1.40mm) Machined section on back for guides on Bosch/other jigsaws
Have not tested
Really, really stiff if you push it at the same point as other blades but it is indeed long
Have not tested
2.5-3 / 1-2
Stiff, but if you're cutting through two pieces of 2x thickness material with an approx 1/2" air gap between then and hit a knot on the bottom piece the blade WILL deflect. Jumpy if you get the pendulum to 3 and feed faster 15 degree rip in a 2x4 on the 4x end. Go slow and it'll behave, you'll need the pendulum at 3 to have any cutting speed. Still need to use it more.
It'll make clean cross cuts in solid wood with the pendulum set to 2 if you feed it relatively slowly (Let the jigsaw do the work).
Bosch T1044DP
High carbon steel / Wood / Set and ground
.064" (1.62mm) / .059" (1.50mm) Machined section on back for guides on Bosch/other jigsaws
Have not used sufficiently
Really stiff if you push it at the same point as other blades but it is indeed very long
Have not used sufficiently
Jumpy blade in the P1CC, do not use pendulum until you enter the wood or it'll jump side to side as well with harmonics
Have not used sufficiently
Bosch T101B
High carbon steel / Wood / Tapered and ground
.046" (1.16mm)
Have not tested
Somewhat stiff

Bosch T102BF
Bimetallic / Plexiglass / Tapered and ground
Have not tested for scrolling, but it can cut non straight lines
.047" (1.20mm)
Fairly stiff
1 / 1-3
Will work if you have painters tape over plexiglass (For cutlines) and through the thin protective layer too. Watch out for gumming up from glue from the painters tape.
Super clean on plexiglass, even on thin sheets without support, smooth edges.
Spyder Skeleton (300032)
High carbon steel / Wood / Tapered and ground
.058" (1.47mm)
Fairly stiff*
Definitely not a scrolling blade at all, cuts mostly in straight lines, there's a very tiny taper to the blade
2.5-3.5 / 0, 2
Really good dust extraction on the P1CC when coupled with a vacuum and cutting upside down. Kind of an all rounder blade but expensive. Doesn't cut as deep as the T234X but it is the same length as a T101B.
Super clean cuts
*If it ever dulls the blade will drift. It doesn't matter how stiff it is when it decides to wander to a side and bends itself. The moment you notice it drifting its time for a new blade unless you're making freehand cuts. I find this to be more of the case with the Spyder Skeleton than the Bosch T234X.
Spyder Scrolling/Double Sided (300010)
High carbon steel / Wood / Teeth on backside of blade, ground
.058" (1.47mm)
Somewhat stiff
Somewhere between a T308BO and T101AO
2-3.5 / 0, 2
Very strange blade, I treated it like a really long T101AO. Supposedly the back teeth do cut in reverse but you have to lift the rear of the jigsaw. I think the relatively thin profile allows for it to cut tight radii moreso than the back teeth on the design. Have not used it very much.
Can make really clean cuts
