Here is a quick video I shot today of the P1CC cutting with the blade in reverse - had to true up some 8/4 walnut that had been cut at an angle and when I pushed the blade wanted to follow that original angle. Pulling the saw solved the problem and I got a perfect 90 degree cut. Set the pendulum action to zero and go slow.

Did you also use the "stiffy blades" from Mafell?

Did you also use the "stiffy blades" from Mafell? No - I assume the Cunex blade is what you are referring to? I have not used mine - seems best for curved work in thicker material. I use Bosch blades or Festool blades with "DP" on them. They are .07 inches thick and seem to give good results.
