The pendulum action suddenly makes more sense to me now. Mafell completely moved the pendulum mechanics inside the head. That's pretty clever and I was trying to figure out what they did with the exploded diagrams but this video makes it clear. Its almost like they basically made a modified version of the pendulum arm and inverted it so it sits in the head and actuates the rocker on the plunge arm. Or if I think this is the way it works: It applies constant pressure, unless you set the pendulum, wherein the pressure arm will not apply pressure on the downstroke.
Now I'm interested to see what it looks like inside a modern Bosch and modern Carvex now. The GST135 is the 1591 EVSL I believe.
