Took delivery of a new enclosed trailer.............. The goal is to reduce overall tool inventory , the innovation and multifunction use that Mafell builds into their product line has helped. This is the cargo size... ....small by US standards ....showing restraint in old age . Am starting with all leftover materials from past jobs ,several glue ups to make the systainer shelving.... Awesome Joe! I've got the same size trailer with the fold down gate. It's downright amazing how much you can cram in there when you get creative. I was reworking some things in my trailer this weekend to fit the new expanded footprint of my Erika with increased rails. Also got a third shelf down for the swing out door to hold screws and fixings. Here's some pics to mull over!

Hey rizzoa13 ,posting pictures !!! very nice . Like the ramp door better for access , decided on barn doors for additional storage for cords , hoses and KSS rails .
Festool should really fix the brittle plastic on CT vacs..........LOL.........thanks for the pictures .

I never thought of the barn doors that way. Definatrly a valid point. It's sad when you can pick out the busted to shit ct hose garage out of all those pics! Hate that damn thing

Always a compromise with these trailers . All my Festool purchases after 2008 have had issues ,hose garages , switches ,bearings , Kapex twice for service.....hope the saw last .

My kapex is taking the trip to Indiana for a new motor this week. The only festool I'll ever buy would be the domino because I really like its functionality and I don't really see an alternative for all the different types of work Id use it for. Other than that they won't get any mkre of my money.

Love the idea of a trailer. Not really something we do here much as it's all vans. What security do you have on them. Locking doors and also to stop the whole thing being stolen?

I've got some pretty heavy duty trailer locks on the fold down and swing out door and I put a hitch lock inside the receiver when I take it off my truck. Someome with a portable grinded could get in if they were really trying. I don't work in shady areas or leave my trailer in bad neighborhoods though.

After a full day of work , had time to roll on oil based stain ...... to the interior . jimbo.....my location demands 4-wheel drive for winter ,a high roof van would be great for work . Living and working in a small town and countyside has a few perks , one of which is not much crime .

Weather is good , finally working with the glue ups for the systainer shelving . Having used the mf 26cc for exterior trim details with great results , all the shelf side supports will have dados . The KSS track makes the task super easy , as with the other KSS saws any mistake is operator error "my mistakes are patent pending"... On with the pictures buttery soft 1.5 inch hose handles shavings. And a few more

Hey John , the machine is fantastic in solid wood . For a replacement of a 250 pound table saw ,its freakin great !!!!! Have not used the tool on sheet goods yet , will probably rotate the cutters on the block . Have more hours into the carpentry work , along the way have had to remind myself.......just a tool trailer . Leaving some gap to fill with Sika Flex marine adhesive , should help with the movement of the trailer walls and floor .
