I needed to cut around 20mm off of a length of timber that was about 65mm wide.
Using the p1cc's parallel fence this cannot be done as it is too narrow for it.
So I got a piece of wood about 60mm wide and screwed it to yhe parallel fence through the two pin holes.
This worked so well and freehand whilst holding the length of timber in my left hand and cutting with my right hand. I did balance one end of the length of timber on the floor or a window shelf to aid cutting.
I will make a permanent piece to use for future narrow cuts. The p1cc amazes me every time I use it.

The pics don't show it but the guide can be moved close to the blade enabling veneer thin pieces to be ripped.

An elegant and simple solution. I think the P1CC is one of the best tools out there. It is an amazing jiggy for sure.
