New versions for 18volt saw . New versions for 18volt drill . Good options for buying into the Metabo and Mafell 18 volt battery family . The new versions have no charger or batteries .

Especially good for importing. Right now I've got a useless charger on my hands

... New versions for 18volt drill . ... I have been looking at the boring station, and was thinking of the corded drill, but I see a 43-mm flange on this one. [strokes beard]

I use <google> Chrome and it translates. It says, "Special container MAFELL-MAX", which is a Tanos with red bits.

If you go to the bottom of the page of the website you will see a German flag. Tap on that and it opens to a menu for different translations.

Nice thanks too anybody's. So when you look at the delivery schedule it shows that it doesn't come with a battery or chsrger. That's so slick for those of us with metabo LiHD stuff as I'm paying money for a worse battery and a charger I don't need! Where and when can I order it?!?

What's the price differential?
And do we know if they leave out any other accessories?
edit: looks like it leaves out the flexirail and two clamps (FX140 is $179 at Timberwolf, has anyone asked Tobias how much it is to include it?).

So the batteries that come with the 40 are NOT the same as the Metabo LiHD?

No. They're st'd 5.2ah's. Still pretty capacious as far as charge goes & quite adequate to the task, but not quite as capable of delivering the large wads of current required for the big heavy duty jobs like deep cutting in hardwood & heavy grinding & cutting of metal in grinders. More than adequate, however, for softwoods & most manufactured boards, esp. in smaller thicknesses.

Has it been confirmed the 110v Metabo LiHD batts sold in NA work on the 40 saw sold in the elsewhere? Cos if they do, I'm going cordless grinder shopping.
