That's what I thought when I went to measure my depth for my locker project. 11 5/8 inches is realllly pushing the limits of the little clamps that hold the rails to the plate.

That is one sweet saw and that stabilisation bow rail is neat I haven't seen that before. I think the 400 would do 90% of what I need it for. Just be nice to do 2x at 45deg for roofing. That's what's making me think about the 60.

Good point! I hadn't realized that the 400 can't bevel 2X stock at 45*. Thanks.

I think the 60 still is a little shy of 2" at 45 deg with the guide track. According to the specs it will cut 47mm or 53mm without track. Not sure what it is with the rails.

Oh bummer I thought it was 47 with track. That really sucks as was the highlight of the saw for me. Might be back to the drawing board then!
