Does anyone else feel that as awesome as the P1cc is at its job it is sadly missing a light? I've found that unless you're working in glorious sunshine the base plate which is necessarily chunky totally blocks the view of the cut line unless you get dangerously close. I'm toying with the idea of modifying it by putting a couple of LEDs behind the clear plastic piece at the front of the body. It looks like it was designed for this very purpose. Why haven't mafell included any? Has anyone heard of anyone else having done this? Any thought welcomed. Tvm.
I too love my p1cc but also have a hard time with the lack of light. I think I will try the led solution slywestercarpenter shows. If someone comes up with a way to install an led and hard wire it into the switch, I would totally be into that.
I wasn't able to see the page as it is now gone. Nor do I see what your are referring to for Holmz workaround. Can you repost pics?
Google "black diamond head lamp"
Holmz, is the headlamp kind of tongue in cheek, like, "just wear a headlamp"? or did you actually mount the light from the headlamp to the jigsaw? I believe you posted this same link on the Festool group and I just saw the headlamp. I can certainly wear a headlamp, but I am interested in the challenge of getting a light on the saw in a cool way. Cheers,

bengt: Oh please the ks60 is better in every way. 60 degree miter in both directions. Bevels past 45(essential in a saw that must cut on the flat) Bigger blade more capacity. The Metabo hpt has 57 degree miter max and 45 bevel max.

alvychippy: It's the board hosts, that are having an idea, of somebody perhaps paying over the odds to acquire the board to administer it.... Obviously hopes are set high, Mafell isn't interested, so it carries on
