Thanks Jalvis, I'll try to see some dealers in my area but I'm close to Paris and most of them are outside this area... Anyway as the saw is from 1986 I think it'll be hard to get parts (it's almost 30 years old now I've found interesting info about riving knives and have a pretty good idea of the specs by now, so I'll try to find someone who deal with cast-iron and see what I can do. It's even possible the new Erika share the old riving knife with mine, too bad Mafell can't tell me... Thanks for your help guys :-)

Wow, is that the original rip fence, for some reason, I assumed it was a relatively new addition? Its also satisfying to see they have maintained the same profile for attaching fences and extensions; most manufactures enact forced obsolescence.

"forced obsolescence" If it has been out 30+ years, I am wondering why there are no copies?

Hi to everybody, I eventually got an answer from Mafell : "buy a new one, they last as long as yours..."
I have to say they're not the most commercial people I've ever met :-) ! not sure I'll buy from them after that : Festool has good product too!
Anyway I enjoy my saw, will make a riving knife for it, and keep looking for the manual
Cheers and thanks for your help, this forum is very nice...

I think your 30+ year old Erika machine might be better than the current Festool CMS and an inverted TS75. The headquarters are a bit difficult to deal with. I have asked them simple questions and got dismissive email replies. i think they must have a resident lawyer.
