That's a great idea Calidecks I'll have to look into doing that with mine it would make emptying the bag much easier. Thanks for the idea! 30 bucks is a great deal to have it done.

Emptying the bag is my main nit pick with the little one. Fills quickly and takes time to empty - unless you empty into a vac. I prefer not emptying it into a vac - bags on vacs are "expensive" and my vacs are often heavy enough with their own crap in them.

Doesn't take that long to empty unless you're trying to empty it still attached to the adapter. It has an elastic connection to the plastic adapter that pinches on and off in a jiff.

Looks great. I think I have a Makita mitre saw dust bag I can modify to fit the KSS40. Thanks for the idea.

Personally I would have used a red or s grey to match the saw. (One always need to maintain fashionability)

I used the bag all day today. It worked perfectly. It's the perfect size and empties nicely. It's a amazing how well the saw spits out the sawdust. It pics up about 80 - 90% of the dust.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. I will have to try something else or just get the missus to conjure up something. I might have an old Festool CT longlife bag in the basement that could be tailored as per your picture.

(on graph paper? ... then people can get the pattern to a someone who sews.) I did a course with the Mrs on pattern making a few years back. It was a lot like sheet metal, but with room to move in it.
