That blade part number (T101DP) comes up for a lot of manufacturers, and the Bosch ones seem to be pretty hard to track down as a pack in the UK - at least to me - does anyone know if the Dewalt or Faithful branded ones are the same as the Bosch?

Festool makes one that is exactly the same -- try one labeled Carvex or Trion -- gold colored blades -- try S75/4FS.

Just for info, there is a Bosch <-> Festool jigsaw blade comparison chart (http://www.festoolusa.com/Web_files/JigsawBladeCompChart.pdf)

I've done Festool blades before, would rather go with a cheaper name if they're just rebadged.

Ya, I see no advantage to Festool blades, I have quite a few of them.

So back to wuffles' question then, where can we find Bosch T101DP (or equivalent but not Festool) in the UK or EU ? I've searched a bit too but never found any.

You could try getting them from another country in the EU -- not sure if that would work. Honestly if Festool are readily available they are about the same cost -- maybe within a few dollars in the US. Any of the Bosch blades with "DP" are designed for straight and parallel cuts and the only difference is some have a set for more aggressive and faster cutting verses the one with no set that cuts cleaner than a circular saw in many instances.

They look the same - have not heard of that brand, before. Also, if a different steel not sure of overall quality, but the configuration definitely looks the same.

They are the Pierre Cardin of the tool world, sort of crappy generic wouldn't expect them to make anything so specific, re-branded nonsense.
So on that basis, I might give them a punt.
