I was just wondering people's opinions on which type of blade to use for certain jobs?
Cutting sheet goods, especially mdf.

I find the round ones work best On a more serious note there has been some good feedback from the gents on this forum. Have a look at the work that Ghostfist has got through with his in a couple of years. I am sure there was some MDF in there somewhere. What kind of finish are you after on the MDF, where is it going to be used ? Cheers Matt

Thing about mdf is, it's just glued up poisonous sawdust. The splinter strips keep the edges crisp and if the standard blade is clean and sharp you'll get a nice clean edge. Nothing beats the mt55 for cut quality in sheet goods as far as track saws go but the 300 does a very good job.

How about blades for cutting melamine ? Is there a huge difference between the 40 tooth TZ fine wood blade to the 40 tooth TT blade for laminates ?
Will be using the MF26cc to cut melamine , takes the same size KSS300 blades .

Joe, not a huge difference in cut quality, but the TT is better, and will last a lot longer in melamine.
