The MT55cc is the only saw in Mafell's lineup that's designed to work with Festool guide rails. So if you have a few of these already you wouldn't need any Mafell rails, at least not initially. This makes it pretty easy to use the MFT/3 as well. The Mafell rails will not work on the MFT without some slight modifications to a couple parts on the MFT. The Mafell guide rails are really nice though and the Rail Joiner is a huge improvement over Festool's.
I can't help you with the P1cc vs MT55 decision. I'd say you should have both . I bought a P1cc a few months ago and it's an awesome jigsaw. The MT55 is next on my list though, I just need to sell my TS75 first.

As I stay in the UK I can't say how service works in America, but my kss400 had to get sent back to Germany as it got over loaded ripping 50mm wet timber. Contacted the saw center glasgow where I bought it from and it got sent back Germany. Whilst it was away getting fixed I got a lend of another kss400 to use
For the USA theres usually an option or two before being sent to Germany. If its a simple fix they will send you the part and you can make the change. Anything too complicated gets sent back to Germany. Naturally any product being sent back will be done through your dealer.
Well, the first impression is that the Festool look plasticky, I know it is not, but that is the feeling (less quality materials). Festool makes sexier tools, I can tell if it was only for looks the TS wins.
I notice the weight on the Mafell is to the back where the saw is held by the user, the Festool is more at the middle of the tool.
abdon: I stand corrected , the angle fence is only attaches with F -Tracks , what confused me was , that the Timberwolf site mentioned it will work with the NFU machine, yes it will work but only I guess when you use the Ftrack , with other tracks Like the KSS L.

glynnco: Did you order from GereedschapPro? I see them as in stock but I'm located in the US and am not sure if they ship here. I sent them an email asking about shipping but it was returned undeliverable...

jonathan: I've purchased a lot of stuff from our neighbours @ GereedschapPro.nl As far as I know they are one of the larger Mafell dealers in the EU. I can recommend them, they usually respond quickly.
