Dissatisfied with free handing and using the Incra guide, that comes with the wonder fence/positioner, for coping I though about getting a coping sled. But ideally, i would want a sliding table for the router. MLCS has one for under $500.00 but its not portable, which is paramount for me. So, then I start looking at the Festool CMS sliding table and think about rigging it to my portable incra positioner table. That leads to thinking about just getting a separate table, the cms for coping and site work the other for raised panels and joint work.
Then it dawns me, why not use the slider on the erika for coping. I could invest in the router set-up...pricey, but then its all about supporting the slider on the other side of the extension side or trying to squeeze it in between the 1000mm extension rails (fail, intersecting rails) might be able to reorient router setup towards blade and attach slider as usual. Thats a 24" plus extension, so it may introduce error...Wrightwoodwork, have you tried this yet?

I haven't tried I don't think it would work with the sliding table one side and the router the other side. There would be too much flex. The only way I see it working is being on the same side. It would properly mean changing the bolts on the brackets to connect the brackets for the sliding rail to the erika and rests against the saw to longer ones. I just not sure if it would work greatly. If I was going to cope I would properly do it the old way and make a jig with toggle clamps and use that instead
