Hello,
Does anyone of you know the differences between the Mafell MT 55 cc and the Bosch Professional GKT 55 GCE? On a video I already saw that changing the blade on the Mafell is easier. Are there any other functions the Mafell has beyond what the Bosch is capable of?
Kind regards,
Jan Willem

Either one is a good choice.

Few added features on the mafell that may or may not be of use to you. A more powerful motor and a sturdier build overall. The bosch may be good enough for what you need. The Lamborghini is the mafell.
I own a mafell but drive a 2005 dodge caravan. Food for thought

The Bosch is build by Mafell and got the same motor and electronics, the rest is complete different. In the future Mafell cooperates with Metabo and there will come new Metabo saws from Mafell and batterie driven saws with Metabo LiHD batterie packs

I would really like a cordless P1 (and maybe MT55 too!) Is this for sure? (First post here by the way, so hello to all)

Heiko, could you share more details about future Mafell/Metabo cooperation? Being a hobbyist, I bought a KSS 300 saw because it is so very versatile. With many home remodelling projects ahead, I believe I can justify the high cost. I love the little saw and see it as a "condensed Mafell goodness". I am also a big cordless fan and an 18 volt version of KSS 300 would make a perfect tool for me, especially with the new Metabo super - batteries. Now it seems I should have waited with my purchase a bit longer...

No inside knowledge and haven't being told officially yet when I've mentioned about a cordless version of the 300. The response is just wait and see and they are working on new tools behind the scenes. So here's hoping

Ok thanks. When the best power tool manufacturer has access to the best battery platform available I'm really excited to see what comes out of the cooperation.
